Paladin is seeking a talented Copywriter and Editor to join a creative editorial team with a Global Marketing organization in the Portland, OR area. You will be working directly with writers, designers and stakeholders to create original content and copy on the company’s website and social media channels. You should have impeccable proofreading and editing skills and are able to maintain tight deadlines with multiple ongoing projects. A Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or related field is required for this role. This is a contracted position with the potential for permanent hire with pay ranging from $30 to $35 an hour. Key Responsibilities Include:
Producing daily and weekly marketing communications content, including social media, email campaigns, product listings, etc.
Proofreading all content for your assigned division with correct spelling, grammar and punctuation, along with brand voice
Ensure information is accurate; Fact-check all information such as names, dates, statistics and product specifications
Required Skills :
3+ years of experience in marketing writing, ideally in a Copywriting and/or Editing position
Experience in a larger, customer-facing organization, highly preferred
Proficiency in AP Style and collaborative platforms
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English or similar
Experience leveraging SEO strategies in digital content
Ability maintain tight deadlines with multiple ongoing projects
