We have partnered with our client, a unique consumer goods brand, to recruit a Copywriter to join their team on a permanent basis, 100% remotely on a PST schedule. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional marketing and communications team members and company leaders to advocate for the voice of this brand. You will be responsible for writing and editing all forms of marketing and communications content, including blogs and newsletters, email and social media campaigns, product copy and more. You will have the opportunity to partner with executive leaders to write and/or edit thought leadership and other ghostwriting projects. This is a great role for you if you bring 3+ years of the above B2C marketing and communications writing experience.   This is a great opportunity to bring your experience into a unique content-heavy role. Even better, this organization is completely remote and looking to hire a fully remote, West Coast based (or adjacent) new team member to work with their marcom team on a PST schedule. Perks and benefits are competitive, with salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000 annually.   You will:

  • Write and edit all forms of consumer content, long-form and short-form, including eCommerce product copy and descriptions, social media and email campaigns, blog and thought leadership content, ghostwriting projects and more
  • Serve as the internal advocate for the brand's voice, partnering with executives to scope new writing-specific brand guidelines, and working with team members to ensure content is optimized for each channel and on brand
  • Work cross-functionally to scope campaigns, projects and programs as the content expert, helping create strategy and creating and editing content to align with goals
  • Partner with other creatives to collaborate and blend copy with concept
  • Research new projects, subjects, etc. to best address relevant subjects in written content
  • Support other marketing and communications projects and team members, as needed
  •   You should bring:
  • 3+ years of B2C content and copywriting experience, ideally within a consumer good, retail, entertainment or similar industry
  • Reliability and professionalism with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field e.g. English, Communications or Journalism; Master's degree, a plus
  • Adaptable writing style with experience in long and short-form writing and editing
  • Experience working with leaders to scope projects and assist in editing and/or ghost writing thought leadership pieces; Project management and collaboration skills with the ability to take and implement feedback from stakeholders
  • Experience with SEO and social media content best practices
  • Experience with digital tools, including Google Analytics, Hubspot, Salesforce or other CRM/email platforms, preferred
