VP of Science & Strategy

Paladin is working with a great repeat client of ours in Matawan, NJ that is looking to add a VP of Science & Strategy to their team. If you have experience working within a medical/ healthcare advertising agency, please keep reading! *Please note this role is currently remote with the plan of having a hybrid schedule one day.*

 

Responsibilities:

Develop, write and edit scientific/medical content for a range of promotional and digital pieces in various therapeutics areas

Serve as key contributor and scientific- strategic expert on assigned brands

Lead and direct a team of 6 medical writers and editors

Provide strategic and medical direction to internal brand teams

Function as SME representing Medical Writing on cross-functional teams

Understand the therapeutic category, product data, and competitive marketplace to evaluate content

 

Requirements:

BA/BS in a life science or healthcare discipline

PharmD or PHD highly preferred

10+ years of relevant experience

Strong scientific background with a marketing focus

Demonstrated ability to efficiently research, comprehend and communicate scientific data

Ability to translate complex scientific and medical data into compelling promotional content

Extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry

Working knowledge and familiarity with AMA guidelines
