We are partnering with a leading medical technology organization in Portland, OR to recruit a Creative Services Copywriter to join their team on a temporary basis with a strong possibility for a conversion to permanent. In this role, you will provide content strategy, copywriting and concepting insight, collaborating with a corporate creative services team to evaluate and build on existing strategy. You will be writing for a variety of platforms and projects, including new product launches, blogs, product copy and more, both long and short-form. To be a fit, you should bring 5+ years of copywriting or similar content writing experience working in a creative services and/or agency environment. This is a 3+ month contract to start, with pay ranging from $30 to $40 hourly with some flexibility.

This company has deep roots in Portland, and while this role will start remote, we are only connecting candidates local to the Portland metro and able to commute to this office in the downtown area when they reopen. Start for this role will be contingent on background and drug testing. 

You will:
-Provide senior-level copywriting and strategic insight for Sales, Marketing and Corporate messaging projects 
-Master the brand's voice and brand guidelines, writing and optimizing content accordingly 
-Partner closely with brand managers and internal marketing teams to scope and complete writing projects
-Work with cross-functional marketing and creative teams to scope projects, evaluated and edit content, and ensure projects are submitted on-brand and on-schedule
-Support writing and editing for integrated campaigns, including scripts for video and similar campaigns

Your experience should include:
-7+ years of copy writing or similar creative writing experience with 5+ years in an agency or creative services team
-Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, including Communications, English or similar
-Excellent project management and cross-functional communications skills, including a track record of working with stakeholders, creatives, etc. to scope and complete projects on-time
-Experience learning new brand voices and optimizing content accordingly
