We are working with our Beaverton, OR global sportswear client to recruit a Global Content Specialist to join their internal communications and HR function. This team oversees, creates and shares information with their huge network of internal employees, and this contract role is open to build out that effort. You will develop, publish and manage internal communications content, oversee QA responsibilities and edit or rewrite documentation to streamline or update. You should bring 2+ years of relevant content management experience, including strong writing and editing skill AND a strong understanding of content management (CMS) plaforms. This is set to be a year-long contract with pay ranging from $30 to $40 an hour, depending on experience.

You will:

  • Manage and prioritize content requests to ensure accurate and timely publication
  • QA and publish content for multiple audiences, countries and platforms
  • Edit/rewrite content to adhere to established style guides and best practices
  • Distill complex information into easily understood, engaging and accurate content
  • Maintain strong relationships with HR and other business stakeholders
  • Participate in content audits for adherence to site standards
  • Partner with internal research team to gather direct employee feedback to optimize content

    Your profile should include:

  • 2+ years of content management experience, required; Proficiecny with Drupal, highly desired
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with content editing and strategy, highly preferred 
  • Experience with managing and publishing information for corporate intranets, working with HR and internal communications, preferred
  • Proficiency with Adobe DreamWeaver and Photoshop, Sharepoint and HTML, highly preferred
  • Excellent project management skill
