Paladin is seeking a well-rounded experienced writer and copy editor to write, edit and proofread content for website, blog, advertising, sales & marketing collateral and promotional materials for both client and consumer facing audiences. This role will help develop end-user focused omni-channel campaigns that communicate with a wide range of audiences including business owners/executives, enterprise SaaS customers & prospects, individual cannabis employees & eCommerce customers. Must be able to write in a detailed, factual, and convincing manner. Excellent research skills and the ability to write persuasively and articulately are essential.


  • Collaborate with creative & marketing team members to determine the conceptual and copy direction of the organization’s branding, marketing, and advertising initiatives
  • Transform complex regulatory & legal information into clear and easy-to-understand digital materials.
  • Work closely with the Product, Marketing & Engineering teams to create, edit and produce technical articles, web copy, press releases, competitive research, abstracts, media/analyst briefs, pitch decks, and other materials as needed
  • Work with cross-functional teams to draft, edit and publish white papers, blog posts, etc.
  • Update collateral based legal updates or regulatory audit requirements to ensure content is aligned with current legislation.
  • Ensure quality assurance for all documents and materials, corporate identity compliance, high-quality graphics, and accurate content throughout draft, editorial and production project phases.
  • Create and maintain corporate document templates
  • Design, create and deliver relevant and high impact content
  • Translate strategic ideas into compelling and innovative creative concepts
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of organization’s digital asset & content management process & system
  • Assist in implementing continuous process improvement by Defining, Measuring & Evaluating KPI metrics and data
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Passionate about research, writing, typography, motion, innovation, and technology
  • Demonstrated creative expertise in a wide range of areas including multi-channel campaigns, print and digital advertising, and web copy
  • Build trusted relationships with different stakeholder & advisor groups and confidently advocate, influence & negotiate across all levels of the industry and organization.
  • Strong conceptual thinker and storyteller
  • Familiarity & experience in adult learning and curriculum development
  • Expert in Microsoft Office
  • Strong presentation and time management skills
  • Excellent organization, verbal & written skills
