Paladin is looking to fill a remote Social Media Manager role with a digital marketing agency in Austin, TX! The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years managing organic social media and paid social media campaigns. A strong portfolio is preferred where you exhibit a solid understanding of current social media trends and best practices.


Organic Social Media Responsibilities:

  • Develop social strategy and fundamentals for assigned brands
  • Develop and execute compelling, on-brand content that satisfies goals, strategies, and the clients brand reputation
  • Create Facebook and Instagram content calendars and ad spend budgets, as needed.
  • As needed, post real-time during Grand Opening or other events, and respond to priority community management needs, including evenings or weekends.
  • Conduct weekly review of post against performance metrics.
  • Translate analytics and reporting into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations, as needed by the client.

    Community Management Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with followers, responding to queries, and monitor customer reviews in a timely manner for accounts, escalating unfavorable comments immediately.
  • Coordinate with the VA for cohesive communication from nights and weekend coverage.

    Paid Social Media Responsibilities:

  • Strategic placement and purchase of digital ads on social platforms.
  • Create and deploy social media content (text, image and video using Adobe CC, Lumen5).
  • Allocate and monitor paid social campaigns and ad spend according to the established monthly budget for campaigns and promoted posts, etc.
  • Provide performance insights for reports, leveraging knowledge and data, and present findings and optimization plans internally and to the client as needed.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in related field required.
  • 2+ years of experience managing organic social media and paid social media campaigns.
  • Senior-level 5-7 years of experience.
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite, Adobe Spark and Lumen 5
  • Facebook Blueprint Certification is a plus.
