Our client is seeking an experienced social media manager to oversee marketing efforts across key brand channels. The social media manager will lead, plan and execute the organization’s content. They will work closely with teams in the marketing, digital, creative, press and specialist departments.


  • Manage social media calendar and establish KPIs for each channel
  • Lead the dissemination of KPIs, including engagement, follower growth, traffic, and top performing posts
  • Manage social media budgets
  • Identify opportunities to amplify marketing efforts
  • Act as creative director for social content, own our social voice to increase its impact with our audience
  • Regularly review trends to identify and respond to trending content, conversations, topics, and news
  • Oversee the coordination of social media collaborators, influencers, and partnerships while inviting diverse perspectives to contribute to our campaigns
  • Work with channel owners for department and region specific accounts to identify opportunities for brand alignment, to ensure a united global presence
  • Oversee all aspects of community management
  • Communicate social media strategies to regional representatives and assist in training teams across the organization on social media best practices
  • Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of the auction industry; experience in the arts and culture sector, design, museums or galleries a plus
  • An eye for design, a sharp writer and editor
  • Proven ability to use data and metrics to develop strategies
  • Knowledge of social publishing and analytics platforms such as Curalate, Dash Hudson, Sprinklr, and Opal
  • Proficiency in photography, videography and animation is a plus
  • Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • 4+ years of experience representing a global brand in a social media-specific role
  • Employment Type

  • 100% remote for now but will be onsite production in the New York office at 432 Park Avenue
  • Travel is occasionally required
