Our client is a global personal care brand that has a newly created role for a Digital Marketing Associate for Social Media. We’re looking for a savvy social media content creator, community manager, and trend watcher to own these platforms and strengthen the brand’s presence in the social media space. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

 

  • Handle all aspect of brand’s digital media programs including but, not limited to: social media, influencer efforts, websites, SEO/SEM campaigns, content for e-Commerce platforms and digital advertising.
  • Plan and gain agreement to and execute social media campaign and posting schedules.
  • Author copy and project manage image development and acquisition.
  • Track all agreed performance metrics and reports to management.
  • Ensure consistent high quality and up-to-date websites and content.
  • Oversees and project manages influencer selection and content development.
  • Recommends and manages approved budgets for digital marketing programs.
  • Ensures continuous improvement in digital efforts.
  • Develops vendor agreements as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with corporate regulatory policies and SOPs in all aspects of program execution and community management.
  • Participate in authoring and regular review of standard business operating procedures.
  • Proactively seek, evaluate and develop viable new digital marketing opportunities, directly leading vendors through contract and execution stages.
  • Develop and oversee tracking of annual brand digital marketing spending details, including reconciliation of monthly finance and marketing spend and budget data.
  • Solicits and analyzes cost quotes on potential digital communication and activation programs.
  • Regularly monitors functionality of digital platforms and websites; recommends/takes timely corrective and preventative action as needed.
  • Monitor and community manage social media platforms including responding to posts as called for in established standard and business operating procedures.
  • Stay attuned to developments in digital marketing and legal environment used to ensure organizational awareness of relevant best practices.
  • Develop sell sheets and data on brand digital marketing efforts for sales meetings as needed.
  • Proofread copy on all digital content.
  • Compile and analyze data to evaluate digital and other programs as assigned for ad-hoc summaries, business reviews, etc.
  • Assist in updating department procedures, manuals as required.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Similar
  • 3 years’ experience (can include relevant internships) in social media and digital marketing within a consumer goods environment
  • A strong attention to detail and excellent project management skills
  • Ability to track, update, report and present data to other marketers in addition to non-marketers
  • Strong understanding of SEO/SEM platforms, particularly Google and analytics tools
