Paladin is working with a privately-owned, legacy brand, Business-to-Business (B2B) distribution company located in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. They have experienced year-over-year growth with zero signs of stopping.  The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a key role, on a small team, in helping to grow the business by optimizing pay-per-click (PPC) and search engine optimization (SEO).  This specialist will serve as the in-house expert in PPC and SEO. This role will concentrate on increasing site traffic, revenue, business development, as well as, focusing on paid and organic search channels.


-Bachelor’s in marketing, business, or similar discipline

-Minimum 3 years experience with SEO (paid and organic)

-Strong skills with Google Ads, Google’s organic search strategy, and Google Analytics.

-Microsoft Office Suite, deep knowledge of Excel.

-Experience with testing methods such as A/B testing.

-Experience with SEM tactics with continual success.

Bonus Points:

-Good Ads and/or Bing Ads certified

-Living local in the suburbs with reasonable commute time


What you will do:

-Create and implement strategy for SEM campaigns to increase traffic and grow E-Commerce revenue.

-Interpret data to better meet Key Performance Indicators(KPIs) and increase Return on Investment(ROI).

-Perform, monitor, and optimize testing for ad copy, extensions, landing pages, and audience identification for Search Engine Marketing (SEM).

-Frequently research and vet keyword search results for ad campaign and development.

-Develop and monitor ad campaigns cost, while delivery result at/or below budget cost.

-Provide feedback to team on current and future PPC and SEO campaigns

-Identify and pull poor performing campaigns, while offer alternative solutions

- Grow and develop A/B testing methods to deliver results in a timely fashion.

-Create best practices for SEO and PPC campaigns, while thinking creativity to increase ROI.
