A leading supplier of interconnect and electromechanical products to the world’s leading mil-aero OEMs, serving various markets including defense, commercial air, test & measurement, radar, and space is looking for a full-time Product Marketing Manager. The candidate will be responsible for promoting the products and their features to organization’s target audience.

 

The role has the potential to develop into a leadership position within the organization and grow a team. The position is based out of Ronkonkoma, NY and would be fulltime in office.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and create the best form of advertising and marketing content such as TV, radio, print, digital or social media to be distributed
  • Create a deep understanding of buyers, their needs and buying criteria
  • Develop competitive and industry analysis to best understand how competition is positioned
  • Develop marketing plans for products in conjunction with sales, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs and report back to the business on required changes.
  • Plan the launches of new products and releases of existing products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Manage a content calendar for creation and release of all content
  • Write, guide and work with external Writers and other content creators to create the desired content.
  • Outline a product timeline and oversee the project’s successful execution.
  • Create and manage budgets for the product.

    Qualification:

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience.
  • Adept at collaboration and CRM tools.
  • Familiar with marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Pardot and Omniture, and Google Analytics.
  • Skilled at managing social media channels such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is –or isn’t—working
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Team player!
  • Must be a solid writer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing; MBA preferred.
