I’m working with a really cool company that has an immediate opening for a Product Manager. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities and managing product marketing initiatives to drive profitable growth of key product lines. Some of their product lines include outdoor furniture such as benches, tables and patio furniture. If you’re into green living, you’ll love this… their products are made from recycled materials!!


You’ll be a marketing liaison to the manufacturing team and would be a subject matter expert for all domestic-based products. You’ll be part of a 13-person team that have a great synergy between them.

  • Research market conditions and competitor activity.
  • Monitor and assess competitive products, pricing and marketing programs.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans, promotional programs, and product positioning/messaging to differentiate and strengthen sales of existing key products.
  • Analyze product placement and promotion in catalogs and websites; recommend alternative approaches or ideas to enhance sales.
  • Recommend the nature and scope of future product lines.
  • Identify and manage product development programs.
  • Identify, research and negotiate with domestic manufacturing vendors for inclusion of product lines in catalogs and websites.
  • Work collaboratively with creative and eCommerce teams to develop and execute marketing plans to successfully drive product category sales.
  • Communicate product changes and enhancements to Customer Service, Purchasing, Freight and Creative teams.
  • Create and deliver ongoing training programs and sales tools that support the selling process of products for the Customer Service and Sales teams.
  • Optimize ongoing vendor relationships in managing products and lead times.
  • Identify potential problem areas and address quality-related issues that may arise.
  • Manage and evaluate growth and performance of current supplier base to ensure products are receiving the most favorable terms possible.
  • Perform ongoing analysis and evaluation of product sales and marketing performance.



  • Bachelors’ degree in business, marketing or related field and/or a minimum of 2 years’ product management experience within a B2B or B2C environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/programs simultaneously.
  • Action-oriented and results-driven.
  • Experience using Tableau or a working knowledge is a plus but, not required.
  • Experience using any kind of ERP is also a plus but, not required.
