Paladin has partnered with a manufacturing company to hire a Marketing Specialist.  The office is located near Oakbrook, Illinois.  Think of a place that’s growing to reach global markets, and where you can make your mark daily. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee implementation of marketing plans, including the development of production schedules, project coordination and operational oversight
  • Ownership of integration points (works with Sales Operations and other key staff)
  • Ownership of the data flow from Creative/Marketing to Sales.
  • Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data—Campaign reporting and metrics.
  • Develops sales presentations and provides reports such as marketing trends, competition, new products.
  • Research, tracking and providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information; relaying customer services requests.
  • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with creative department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
  • Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.
  • Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution with a concentration in Marketing, Communications or similar field
  • Working knowledge of the general marketing process – research, planning, promotion and evaluation
  • Understanding of social media and the ability to navigate popular outlets (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint and Canva proficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoys learning new technologies and techniques in the marketing and communications space
  • Tech-savvy and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to self-start as well as work as part of a team
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
