Field Marketing Manager

 

The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for guiding and supporting franchisee marketing efforts in an assigned store territory to build sales, transactions and market share. Develop and execute marketing plans with a customized strategy that leverages the national plan through local opportunities. Create local and regional programs to include community and media partnerships, social media plans, special events, direct mail drops and traffic-driving promotions. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast pace, is a natural at building and cultivating relationships, and is a creative and strategic thinker.

 

Hours: 8 am – 5pm – Full Time – M-F

Responsibilities:

  • Leverages local media contacts and sponsorship partners to create innovative approaches in support of marketing initiatives.
  • Develops relationships with key market community organizations, leaders and influencers.
  • Measures, evaluates and reports on the success of marketing programs and the impact to the business, and recommends adjustments for increased future success.
  • Partners with the project services team and corporate marketing team to develop, execute and communicate marketing strategies for designated stores.
  • Creates and implements plans for new store openings.
  • Trains, coaches and supports operators on development and execution of local store marketing existing programs and new initiatives, with special attention given to sales opportunity stores.
  • Defines grassroots tactics such as school fundraisers and customizes marketing approaches based on the needs of the area.
  • Generates excitement and support within the franchisee community around national promotions and roll-outs, and ensures programs are properly implemented in assigned restaurants.
  • Focuses on building a stronger, tighter relationship with the customer base and building awareness of company with the target audience.
  • Maintains awareness of the competitive landscape, staying on the pulse of marketing programs in the communities served.
  • Partners with Franchise Business Consultants (FBCs) to identify the business needs of stores, and strategically plan and execute results-oriented programs, from social media campaigns to coupons to school outreach, at a regional and local store marketing level.
  • Develops and cultivates positive and thriving relationships with franchisees, acting as the voice of marketing and company.


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Field Marketing experience required
  • 3 -5 years marketing experience in a food service or multi-unit company strongly preferred
  • 2-3 years in the quick service restaurant industry strongly preferred
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or related field (preferred)
  • Experience with social media, project management and promotions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Ability to develop, monitor, analyze and adhere to budgets.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, with a strong background in writing and editing
