We are partnering with a Portland, OR digital marketing agency to recruit an Account Supervisor, Email to join their team on a permanent basis. If you consider yourself an email marketing expert, a strong team leader and an experienced marketing agency veteran, we want to connect with you! You will be leading a small team (<10 staff) and will spearhead team operations work, training and will also be a working manager. You will also be a crucial liaison for their Fortune 500 client, managing relationships with various teams and clients within the organization to ensure their complete satisfaction. To be a fit, you'll need to possess the above skills and experience, while also being obsessed with creating consumer experiences in the email channel, and creating trust and loyalty with clients. This is a permanent position and interviews are happening quickly! Pay for this role varies heavily on relevant industry experience but will range between $80,000 and $100,000 annually. You'll be working in a casual culture that really emphasizes both client and employee experience and brings together the best parts of corporate and agency life.
You will:
Lead a team of <10 account and project management staff, handling scheduling, operational duties, training and performance management responsibilities, among others
Be a working manager, partnering with client stakeholders to scope and execute digital marketing projects to implement campaigns
Manage escalated challenges or conflicts with relevant stakeholders and internal team members, creating flexibility and opportunity to pivot
Oversee strategic planning for the team, providing documentation, KPIs and coaching to keep staff and projects on track
Communicate with client and agency leaders consistently
Handle a variety of other projects or operational responsibilities, as needed
Your experience and profile should include:
7+ years of project or account management experience in the digital and email marketing world, with experience in agency environments
3+ years of team leadership experience, including performance management, coaching, hiring and scheduling work, among other leadership duties
Impeccable client services skill, including experience working with Fortune 500 and enterprise brands strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree, preferred, may be substituted for relevant experience
Excellent technical proficiency and aptitude, including experience with a variety of email marketing software and project management tools
An outgoing, friendly and people-centric personality
