Sr. Marketing Manager – Schaumburg, IL (hybrid)


Paladin is a premier staffing firm working with a B2B organization with a newly created opening for a Sr. Marketing Manager on the technology side of the business. The Sr. Marketing Manager will be the first marketing hire for this side of the business but will have marketing peers to collaborate and work with. In addition to that, you’ll work very closely with the COO, product, engineering, and business development teams in the U.S. and overseas.


Responsibilities will include oversight of a new technology service offering, executing the already developed go-to-market strategy, but helping to assess and identify marketing opportunities across traditional and digital channels.


You’ll be focused on acquisition strategies that encompass brand exposure, content development, email, social media marketing, SEO growth and PR activities.


Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of marketing experience in a B2B environment with generalist responsibilities that includes a strong focus on digital (social media, email, SEO, PR, analytics) and traditional marketing efforts. Past experience managing vendor relationships is also a plus!


Location: Schaumburg, IL (Woodfield area) will be on-site 2-3 days per week

  • Design, recommend and lead implementation of strategic digital and traditional marketing strategies.
  • Oversee and potentially identify outsourced marketing resources.
  • Manage PR and related content development including feature articles, press releases, earned media and award submissions.
  • Engage with internal/external SMEs in the development and execution of content planning.
  • Leverage research and use of KPIs to develop, implement, and measure marketing impact.
  • Serve as a champion for stakeholders, escalating issues when necessary and demonstrating flexibility when needed.

    Other Requirements:

  • Exposure and expertise across many areas of digital and traditional marketing (paid, organic, email, SEO, content, affiliate, customer experience, UI, etc.)
  • Past experience with SaaS or tech companies is a plus, but not required.
  • Campaign management experience including ad and email campaigns (print/digital).
  • CRM experience using Salesforce or Hubspot (preferred)
  • Experience with full-funnel content marketing, creating and execution of visual brand strategies, audience segmentation, analytics, stakeholder management, online brand management, and lead generation.
