Paladin is working with a global organization that is looing for a savvy SEO Manager to be responsible for implementing activities related to organic search and also serve as lead promoter for SEO best practices, being the champion for adoption by cross-functional teams and take the lead for the quality and growth of on/off-site factors of SEO that drive organic growth and market share.


LOCATION: Remote for now, but will need to be on-site near Schaumburg, IL

SALARY: Will commensurate with experience – competitive base + bonus

Must Have Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience (B2B + B2C preferred, not a dealbreaker)
  • Deep understanding of SEO tactics for content and technical
  • Proven track record in managing SEO projects from concept to completion/review
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML/CSS and SEO
  • Expert in MS Excel
  • Familiar with SERP layouts for various devices (desktop, mobile, tablet)
  • Experience using analytics tools and Salesforce


  • Develop, manage, execute global SEO strategy; outline recommendations, goals and timelines including experiments and initiatives to drive awareness, organic traffic, leads and engagement
  • Build a keyword strategy and portfolio focusing on optimizing existing content and uncovering new opportunities for untapped search space for high volume core business terms and broad match, long-tail keywords
  • Create a rubric for measuring SEO progress, performance and success
  • Partner with internal teams to create quantitative and qualitative SEO performance reports
  • Advise on content creation and participate in content calendar meetings to infuse SEO strategy into decision-making
  • Collaborate on finding content gaps to drive awareness, engagement and link-building opportunities
  • Conduct ongoing evaluation of search results and page performance, identifying content gaps and optimization needs resulting from shifting search intent
  • Implement ongoing SEO changes and updates (meta description, page titles, schema markup, microdata, etc.)
  • Oversee internal content and prevent potential keyword cannibalization
  • Use web analytics tools to support the compilation of data and develop recommendations
  • Stay up on SEO trends, new developments and algorithms

    Good to have:

  • Any experience using Sitecore
  • Experience with global audiences and/or international SEO
  • Performing analytics within GA360 (or similar)
  • Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
