Paid Media Strategist – Remote

Paladin has partnered with a sophisticated agency to recruit for a Paid Media Strategist. This is a full-time remote role. The person will be responsible for strategizing and managing paid media campaigns for clients, in paid search/social and programmatic. In this position, you’ll need to quickly understand, strategize, and maintain data-driven decisions that contribute to the client’s overall return on ad spend in accordance with client goals. You will be responsible for budget management and regular optimization to constantly push our clients forward.

Act as a key player between client and agency around paid media strategy

  • Present paid media strategies to clients across programmatic, social, and paid channels
  • Create and own end to end media plans and strategy for critical clients
  • Work closely and build trust of clients demonstrating deep understanding of client goals and objectives around paid media
  • Expert understanding of programmatic advertising platforms, demand-side platforms and experience working with managed-media partners.
  • Knowledgeable of 3rd party ad tools
  • Analyze campaign metrics and proactively optimize campaigns to increase performance
  • Identify trends in data to drive optimization strategies & insights
  • Ensure proper escalation path for campaigns that are not performing as expected
  • Work closely alongside client services team to help drive incremental revenue new strategies
  • Coordinate, map out and deliver QBRs and other performance data for clients
  • Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience working with paid ad campaigns
  • Knowledge of how to effectively use various forms of digital/social media advertising to drive traffic and brand awareness including: Google, Bing, Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin
  • Understanding of demand-side platforms and working with managed media partners
  • Strong critical thinking skills to help drive customer strategies
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and think outside the box on new ideas
  • Team player with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and accountability
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with creative ability to lead internal teams to overcome challenges and achieve resolution
