A high-energy, professional services company in New York is searching for a Marketing Coordinator to support Finance practice groups with a dynamic team of individuals. The ideal candidate will assist practice group lawyers and marketing colleagues with the execution of marketing activities that support the company’s business development goals and strategies, as well as support the marketing and business development activities of the practice groups in the firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist on marketing and business development for the finance practice groups.
  • Keep up with practice group initiative deadlines and statuses.
  • Maintain databases of marketing activity, firm experience, and awards/accolades.
  • Support new market opportunities by coordinating research, analysis, and monitoring of financial, technical and demographic factors.
  • Track all marketing collateral, communications, etc. to ensure they are consistent and error-free.
  • Under direction of supervisor candidate will assist with internal and external marketing events and conferences, coordinate detailed league table submissions, assist all aspects of the marketing and business development team, and maintain firm systems and communication vehicles, such as internal blogs, websites, portal, etc.
  • Requirements:                 

  • Degree in marketing or communications or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-4 years of experience in a law firm
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Commitment to teamwork
  • Excellent word-processing and internet skills is a must; high proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • High attention to detail and action-oriented
  • Highly productive and flexible
  • Ability to build relationships with a wide range of individuals
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to work independently as well as with a team
