We are partnering with a Portland, OR area food and beverage company to recruit a Marketing Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. As the Marketing Coordinator, you will join a tight-knit marketing team with a focus on storytelling and digital optimization. You will be responsible for digital and traditional marketing responsibilities. Your biggest task will focus on social media and email optimization, writing and editing long and short-form content, running campaigns, and managing the content calendar for the department. You will be tasked with working with cross-functional teams within the organization to optimize the company's website, from updating web content in their CMS to supporting digital catalog management and analytics reporting. You'll get to flex your creative muscles every day, whether you're writing content, aiding in branding initiatives or working with design teams. This role is a great fit for you if you have 2+ years of professional experience in the above marketing functions and excellent technical aptitude, including CRM, CMS and social media experience.   

This is a permanent opportunity working on a team that is all about training, mentorship and growth. This position will sit onsite southwest of Portland, as you'll be joining an essential business with a deep understanding of all safety precautions. Pay ranges from $40,000 to $45,000 annually with flexibility for the right fit. 

  You will:

  • Work with marketing leadership to coordinate promotional campaigns, primarily focused on email and social channels
  • Support marketing, sales and other cross-functional teams in creating collateral and sales materials
  • Own the marketing calendar, writing, editing and producing long and short-form campaign, social, email, web and print collateral content
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to help optimize digital catalog efforts, working with product, supply chain and other teams to maintain and optimize product listings
  • Help plan company events, trade shows and celebrations
  • Support other marketing and creative initiatives, as needed
  •   Your experience should include:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in marketing, with hands-on social media and content creation experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience writing and editing long and short-form social media and web content
  • Strong technical experience, including proficiency with CRM systems (ideally Salesforce), CMS platforms and social media platforms and tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.) 
  • Proficiency with email marketing systems and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
