I’m working with a fast-growing company that is looking for an experienced Marketing Automation Specialist to join their team. You’ll be reporting directly to the CMO and you’ll be tasked with lead management platforms and the implementation of all lead generation initiatives to grow awareness and increase awareness for company brands with consumers and B2B partners.


You’ll also be tasked with managing the marketing automation platform and implementation of lead nurturing programs to convert consumers into purchase leads and brand loyalists.

  • Work with IT and vendor partners to implement Pardot according to best practices.
  • Work closely with the strategy team to build customer journeys for multiple audiences.
  • Build email funnels including: mapping, advanced nurture builds, drip flows, segmentation, form and landing page builds, testing, deployment, lead lifecycle, scoring and continual evaluation for improvements.
  • Coordinate a marketing calendar for launching and testing marketing campaigns.
  • Own all aspects of email development and deliverability.
  • Integrate Pardot with other channels to capture demand from all touchpoints including advertising, social, customer service, etc.
  • Serve as an email SME by recommending the most effective ways to use the email channel to engage customers and improve channel KPIs.
  • Integrate all consumer data into SalesForce.
  • Work with vendors to manage lead assignment logic and effectiveness to customers.
  • Manage lead generation campaigns and relationships with 3rd party sites and platforms.
  • Manage all lead capture sources and data flow across multiple touchpoints i.e. web forms, customer service, webinars, etc.
  • Build dashboards to measure campaign performance and track against overall KPIs.
  • Pull weekly and monthly metrics for stakeholders.
  • Routinely improve campaign effectiveness using performance metrics, different promotional offers, A/B testing, etc.
  • Optimize campaign performance via testing subject lines, creative and messaging.
  • Evaluate new opportunities for customer segmentation and personalization to bring the right message to the right customer at the right time.
  • Serve as an advisor to internal/external clients in marketing and advanced analytics.


  • Bachelors’ degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 5 years of experience working in email marketing, CRM or marketing related field (B2B experience is a plus)
  • Experience using marketing automation tools i.e. Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua is a MUST.
  • Experience using and maintaining a database.
  • Knowledge of industry and marketing automation best practices related to nurturing campaign design, outbound/inbound marketing, demand generation, etc.
  • Experience with lead generation and nurturing programs.
  • Strong organization and communication skills with the ability to discuss technical matters with a non-technical audience.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound… or, be able to multi-task in a quick changing environment and show that you have strong analytical skills.
