Marketing Director

A New York based Paladin client in the Financial Services sector is looking to add a Marketing Director to their team. Oh, and let's not forget to mention it's 100% remote!  

Responsibilities: 

  • Work with EVP of Marketing, to develop and deliver effective digital marketing strategies to meet client objectives
  • Collaborate with designers, writers, and other partners to create content optimized for digital distribution channels including web, social and email
  • Follow marketing and financial services industry trends and best practices affecting the agency and clients
  • Must have hands-on experience with tactical execution of integrated digital marketing programs- (social media, both paid and unpaid campaigns, email marketing campaigns, and lead gen campaigns)
  • Must be a highly organized, self-starter, and have an aptitude for tracking multiple deliverables against tight deadlines
  • Thinks strategically to support the team with marketing initiative ideation pertaining to specific clients and projects
  • Reviews drafts of quarterly analytics reports and shares with manager for review
  • Contributes to marketing and strategic communications plans through thoughtful, informed, suggestions and input
  • Assists in creating new business proposals, as needed
  • Demonstrates excellent editing and proofreading skills and experience in reviewing content from freelance copywriters to ensure it aligns with client goals and expectations
  • Exhibits strong organizational skills and works closely with team members to ensure projects are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Facilitate weekly, monthly and quarterly check-in calls with clients where needed
  • Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or other related fields
  • 5-8 years of prior experience in a marketing role
  • Financial services industry experience strongly preferred, as well as a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and HubSpot
  • Creative and energetic personality with start-up mentality that has the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple deadlines, projects, and accounts simultaneously
  • Ability to succeed in a detail-oriented environment and take responsibility for detailed tasks
  • Wealth management experience is a plus, but not required
