Young and very rapidly growing CPG is looking for a Director of Digital Marketing to take charge of developing and executing an in-house marketing team. This dynamic company has been on the INC 5000 list of fastest growing companies for FOUR consecutive years!


We’re in search of someone experienced in handling all aspects of digital marketing. As a member of the executive team, you’ll work closely with the CEO/Founder and President to develop effective marketing campaigns.


LOCATION: This will role work on-site in Naperville, IL


This is a full-time/permanent position with a competitive base salary and full benefits package.



  • Develop and manage consumer communications strategy and content calendar
  • Pioneer new ways of thinking, seeking new opportunities to cater to current consumer consumption habits, consumer trends, community management, digital marketing opps and best practices
  • Act as a central point of contact on owned digital channels (email, SEO, social/content partnerships)
  • Develop creative content and projects related to social, web and eCommerce, with support of our inhouse graphics designers
  • Develop and manage digital marketing strategy in partnership with leadership
  • Directly manage Facebook campaigns and possibly digital ad campaigns
  • Understand competitors, conduct research and immersion into industry, happenings, content, etc.
  • Manage performance analytics, providing context and insight to performance reports
  • Create and manage blogger/influencer community program, identify relevant blogs to create brand advocates and engaging social partners
  • Explore and evaluate new social platforms, tools, services, and vendors, providing recommendations
  • Create email marketing content, own email calendar, support promotional emails, newsletters and other consumer messaging
  • Optimize all content with SEO best practices and strategy
  • Help increase brand awareness through paid digital marketing i.e. paid social, paid search and display)
  • Review and maintain marketing budgets, experience with budgets of over $2M


  • 5 years of B2C digital marketing experience including building, deployment, and optimization of digital ad campaigns on search engines i.e. Google Ad Words and social media and DSP (digital signal processing)
  • Past supervisory or managerial experience
  • Proficient in using marketing automation and CRM tools 
  • Experienced launching + building new products + brands (tangible products, not services)


  • Experience selling on Amazon (vendor or seller central)
  • Experienced directing agencies
  • Ability to gather and review data analytics and report on the data to influence campaign performance and future strategy
  • Excellence written + verbal communication skills
