The Email Marketing Manager/Marketing Automation Specialist in Milwaukee, WI is responsible for designing and deploying the organizations email marketing campaigns and maximize revenue opportunities. The Marketing Specialist will be part of a fun, energetic, and highly collaborative team. This role is responsible for building and executing marketing campaigns through e-mail marketing automation and direct mail. This role will focus on data-driven digital experience with the ability to aid in the development tactics that will maximize reach, impact, and effectiveness of message delivery through digital marketing campaigns. This position will share a passion for accountability through measurement, driving consistency through repeatable and scalable processes across our marketing organization using data to tell the story.

What you will do:

  • Manage trigger based email campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle and provide detailed performance analysis and recommendations to executive management.
  • Work with Advertising Managers to ensure proper verbiage and consistency of marketing campaigns.
  • Workflow management of design, approvals and rollout of marketing campaigns.
  • Work with database and IT teams to ensure proper email list hygiene and segmentation. Optimizing campaigns based on results and testing using knowledge of A/B testing, reporting, subject line optimization, email layout previews, content assessment and code analysis.
  • Monitor email growth, audience development and maintenance with Marketo/Pardot reporting tools.
  • Create and present detailed monthly reports to key stake-holders within the Company.
  • Analyze research and build best practices to improve ongoing email campaign performance using Marketo/Pardot
  • Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience deploying email and digital marketing experience preferred with knowledge of HTML and CSS, and email best practices.
  • 2 years’ experience in data management with the use of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets preferred.
  • Two years’ experience in project management and graphic design preferred with a focus on the following: Adobe Creative Cloud and online drag/drop editors.
  • 1 year experience in copyrighting and proofreading preferred.
  • Two years’ experience working with an email deployment tool Marketo/Pardot or mid-level/enterprise system preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and management.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent professional working experience preferred.
