We are partnering with a Portland, OR-based consumer goods company to recruit a Digital Marketing Manager to support their growing brand. This is a new role open due to company evolution and growth, and will directly support C and VP-level leadership. As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for serving as an expert on campaign management, numbers and analytics, primarily working on the business’s B2C side. You will be responsible for optimizing the digital marketing functions, including working with leaders to implement and own a new email marketing platform and database. Email marketing will be a large part of this role, so expertise in work like segmentation, reporting and analytics is crucial. This is not a creative position, but you will work closely with designers and content staff to drive campaigns throughout all digital platforms. Experience with generalized marketing work is also crucial to your success here, so understanding of print marketing, collateral creation and other communications is highly preferred. This is a permanent role with pay ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 annually. You will start remotely and maintain remote flexibility, but will be expected to be local to the Portland area for onsite meetings and collaboration.   You will:

  • Run integrated B2C marketing campaigns, focusing on optimizing email and social channels to drive web sales
  • Support company leadership in implementing and optimizing new email marketing and campaign software systems
  • Serve as the reporting expert on the marketing team, providing analysis and data on campaign ROI and communicating these efforts to leaders to inform department decisions
  • Manage a small team of creative marketers, overseeing integrated marketing and communications campaigns (print collateral creation, tradeshow support, media relations, etc.)
  • Maintain expert competitor and market knowledge, leveraging insight into informed campaigns and decisions
  • Handle other digital marketing efforts as needed, including supporting the creative and ecommerce functions
  •   Your profile should include:

  • 3+ years of B2C digital marketing experience, ideally combined with integrated marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent technical aptitude, including experience with email marketing software, CRM systems and Google Ads/Analytics
  • Analytical approach to digital marketing and a strong track record of making informed decisions and recommendations based on campaign and ROI data
  • Experience running B2C campaigns, required but blended experience in B2B and B2C is preferred
