Paladin is working with a privately owned consumer products company that has a newly created position for an Assistant eCommerce Manager. We’re looking for a detail-oriented team-player who can shadow box in a fast-moving environment where every once in a while, a hot potato may land on your plate!

 

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly collaborative team where you’ll work in close proximity to the President and other senior leadership with room to learn and grow!

 

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

 

  • Minimum of 1-year Amazon 1P and/or Walmart.com experience
  • 1+ years of experience working for a consumer product goods company
  • Highly detail oriented and strong project management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

    Job Type: Permanent/Full-Time

    Location: Chicago-Loop (will be on-site for 1-month of training, possible remote working)

    Salary: Will commensurate with experience

    Responsibilities:

  • Manage ticketing for ecom websites including content updates, detail page issues, and general catalog management.
  • Develop a plan to grow key categories on Amazon through different marketing, content, and operational levers.
  • New item set-up management from filling out key ecom website, set-up forms, submitting and following through until item set-up completion.
  • Auditing current catalogs on ecom websites to ensure correct content and information is live on site.
  • Manage MAP pricing process and execution.
  • Purchase order management for marketplace accounts.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on competitive ecom performance.
  • Establish strong cross-functional relationships to better manage operations, finance, and marketing of key accounts (Homedepot.com, Target.com, Lowes.com)

    Other Desired Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree.
  • Solid analytical skills with ability to translate data into action plans.
  • Sound communication skills with intent to educate and influence management and staff to act in the best interest of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Resiliency and the courage to maintain a professional and positive attitude when faced with obstacles and the willingness to develop alternative approaches to overcome them.
  • Bias for action to make strong, quick decisions and the ability to take direction to drive the interests of the business while still maintaining highest levels of rigor and compliance.
  • Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy of all creative assets, linking, promotions and product attribution for sites and within areas of focus.
