Paladin is searching for a Senior UX Designer to join an established, and growing marketing agency located in Chicago, Illinois. This role will be involved in the end-to-end process of creating UX deliverables through the project lifecycle. Must be able to weigh usability principles with business and consumer goals across a broad set of client brands and digital mediums. You will be responsible for conducting/assessing usability tests, and suggesting changes to optimize products based on results. The Senior UX Designer will be comfortable presenting their work in front of internal teams and clients alike. The ideal candidate will possess an expert level knowledge of Axure, with the ability to engineer high fidelity prototypes illustrating function as well as design. Primary Duties:

  • Craft innovative solutions while maintaining focus on user and business requirements
  • Create full-spectrum UX deliverables (information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, presentations)
  • Design, conduct, and analyze usability tests and results
  • Leverage analytics to analyze campaign/user experience success. Suggest changes for greater optimization
  • Present designs and deliverables to client
  • Lead ideation sessions, encouraging participation from different team members in various disciplines
  • Demonstrate expertise in Axure*, InDesign, and Microsoft Office
  • Mentor associate and mid level designers
  • Remain up-to-date with current design/usability trends, stands, technologies, etc. Share insights across company teams

  • Minimum Qualifications:

    Education: BA/BS in Marketing, or related Field


  • 5-8 Years of experience in User Experience Design
  • Proficient building rapid prototypes in Axure (preferred) or similar prototyping tool
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – namely InDesign
  • Experience designing for websites/applications as well as other channels – media, search, dynamic personalization, CRM, social media, tradeshow events
  • Background in user research and usability testing – ability to design, conduct, and analyze test results
  • Adept in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Capacity to multi-task, managing multiple projects at one time
