We are partnering with a thriving Portland, OR consumer goods company to recruit a Marketing Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is open due to growth! As the company's dedicated Marketing Manager, you will inherit a small team of marketing and creative direct reports, directly managing the team and ensuring their deliverables and goals are met. You will also own agency and vendor relationships for all things marketing, serving as a brand expert and strategist in scoping content, collateral and other relevant projects. You’ll invest in the digital marketing channels immediately, working with the team to keep social media accounts growing and to optimize email marketing campaigns. This is a great fit if you have 5+ years of corporate marketing experience, with at least 1+ year of directly overseeing a small team. You should bring strong project management skill with a history of delivering projects on-schedule and on-budget. Exposure to all things marketing (digital, email, social, creative, trade shows, etc.) is required. 

This is a permanent role that will start remotely but will go back onsite full-time when safe! This company offers a great benefits plan, competitive PTO and paid holidays, and a history of incredible tenure and internal growth. Pay ranges from $75,000 to $95,000 annually with some opportunity for flexibility.

You will:

  • Serve on the organization's management team, working closely with cross-functional and corporate leadership to ensure marketing initiatives are in line with sales goals and executive vision
  • Manage a small team of internal employees across creative and digital functions; Work with external vendors and agencies to scope and manage marketing and creative projects 
  • Collaborate with sales and other cross-functional teams to create and execute integrated marketing campaigns and plans, including email, social and trade show marketing efforts, among others
  • Manage the company's web presence, partnering with internal teams and external resources to make changes, share updates and optimize the organization's digital presence 
  • Oversee departmental KPIs and reporting
  • Your profile should include:

  • 5+ years of integrated marketing experience with 1+ year(s) of experience directly managing a small team
  • Some experience in the consumer goods and/or retail industry, required
  • In-depth understanding of consumer-focused marketing strategy across all marketing channels
  • Experience managing social media and email marketing campaigns, leveraging analytics and reporting across all channels and campaigns 
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent technical proficiency, including ESP experience (MailChimp, Klaviyo, etc.), CRM/database software and project management tools
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, a plus
  • Exposure to DTC or marketplace eCommerce sales, a plus
