We are partnering with an innovative retail brand in the Portland, OR area to recruit a Marketing Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client has had great success in building their team, their brand and their footprint, despite all of the changes to the retail world over the last year. This company has long-term vision and their leadership is looking to hire a new team member to support and own campaign execution across all marketing channels, including email marketing efforts, social media management, customer engagement, eCommerce, event planning and customer engagement, and much more. This is a marketing generalist with a focus on driving innovation and high-touch customer experiences, so you should bring 3+ years of integrated marketing experience, ideally with B2C experience. Strong project management skill is crucial, as you will be overseeing operational and support components as the department continues to grow. This is a great opportunity to work across creative, digital and retail marketing channels, support design efforts, plan events, and just generally be a part of scaling this brand. 

This is a permanent role with a highly competitive benefits package. Salary ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, dependent on experience level and relevant skillset. This role is only open to Portland, OR-area candidates who are able to work primarily remotely but commute to this office when necessary, as this role will support hands on work with their product line. You will work for a supportive manager and executive team, all of whom value hard work and internal promotion. 

You will: 

  • Partner with marketing and company leadership to create and execute on marketing strategy across all channels, owning email, paid search, social media management, creative work, and other similar duties
  • Own relationships with company vendors and agencies, serving as a Project Manager for campaigns and ensuring that deadlines are hit and budgets are met
  • Serve as a technology subject matter expert, working with leaders to vet and implement new systems across email, social, database management and creative efforts, to name a few areas
  • Own reporting responsibility for campaigns, communicating ROI/ROAS and similar to executives and making data-informed decisions
  • Manage the company's CRM and database marketing efforts, ensuring information is accurate and reporting as needed
  • Support other responsibilities across the marketing, eCommerce and retail functions, as needed
  • Your profile should include:

  • 3+ years of blended marketing experience with hands-on experience in email, social media, paid search, content and creative work, to name a few
  • B2C experience - may be blended with B2B
  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in a related field
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to handle operational duties like scheduling, vendor management, budgeting and similar
  • Proficiency in relevant technology, including Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce or similar CRM), ESP or automation software and social media platforms, required
  • Additional technical experience in project management software, Google Ads/Analytics and HTML/CSS, preferred
  • A track record of working autonomously to run marketing projects and campaigns, understand audiences, and drive revenue and brand awareness through marketing efforts and programs
