We are partnering with a Portland, OR-area food and beverage company to hire a Marketing Manager as their team grows. Uniquely for the food and beverage industry, our client operates almost exclusively on a B2B basis. Stable in the times of healthcare crisis, they are ready to hire a dedicated leader for their small and thriving marketing team. You will be responsible for overseeing a small marketing and design staff and should bring experience in and a passion for leadership. You'll also be a working manager, executing print, digital and other marketing campaigns and initiatives, and supporting company leadership in internal and external communications initiatives. To be a fit, you should bring 5+ years of integrated marketing experience to the table and should be comfortable in a true marketing generalist position. Technical aptitude is important, and systems proficiency is outlined below. Almost most importantly, you should bring 2+ years of management and leadership experience to the table. Pay for this permanent role ranges between $70,000 and $80,000 and this organization provides competitive benefits and stellar work/life balance.   You will:

  • Lead all marketing efforts and operations for the organization, including overseeing a small team of direct reports
  • Collaborate with sales and other cross-functional teams to create and execute integrated marketing campaigns and plans, including email, social and tradeshow marketing efforts, among others
  • Serve as a member of the management team, partnering closely with the CEO as the company's brand expert
  • Oversee internal and external communications efforts
  • Lead the company's print and digital design efforts, aiding team members in concepting and creating relevant print and digital collateral and projects
  • Manage the company's web presence, partnering with internal teams and external resources to make changes, share updates and optimize the organization's web presence
  •   To be a fit, your experience should include:
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in a B2B environment; 2+ years of experience leading and/or managing a team
  • Experience leading a variety of marketing projects, including email, social and other digital marketing work, print collateral creation, sales enablement and lead generation, tradeshow and event planning and communications work
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent technical proficiency, including Adobe Creative Suite prowess, email marketing and social media software and experience with CRM/database system
