On the search for a hands-on Brand Manager for our beauty client in Los Angeles, CA.  The Brand Manager will develop the marketing strategy in collaboration with leadership as well as responsibilities in brand positioning, competitive and trend analysis, sales and profitability analysis and more.  This is a great opportunity for someone to help develop the brand vision as well as short- and long-term goals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work cross-functionally with creative/graphic, product development and trade marketing departments
  • Develop overall brand marketing strategy and brand positioning
  • Manage brand and product financials/budget, giving recommendations for growth opportunities
  • Support product development team and innovation pipeline
  • Consistently research and stay up to date on trend and market opportunities
  • Analyze sales and profitability; Use Nielsen/IRI information to identify appropriate financial plans
  • Work with sales team to generate customer and sales growth

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or relevant field
  • MBA preferred
  • 3-5+ years of brand management experience in the beauty industry
  • Understanding of marketing and financial components including brand and product positioning, consumer insights, P&L, product development, packaging, etc
  • Experience working with mass retailers such as Target, Walmart, etc.
