Paladin is currently partnering with a Portland, OR consumer goods and retail leader to hire an Marketing Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing historical and current marketing data to inform future omni-channel digital strategy, driving competitive marketing campaigns, increased engagement and product sales. You should be a data advocate who constantly finds yourself asking "Why?" when reviewing campaign results and digital data, and must be skilled in working with executives and team members to report on findings and help scope strategy. To be a fit, you should bring 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing analytics in a consumer products or retail organization, ideally with experience across all digital marketing channels and eCommerce, and MS Excel and Google Analytics expertise. Experience with BI and analytics tools, including PowerBI, SQL and/or Tableau, along with digital marketing tech, is highly preferred. E

You'll be joining a collaborative team where you'll have a seat at the strategic table. Experience working with leaders and executives to report and present on data is a must! This is a permanent role, with pay ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, with some potential flexibility for a consumer products expert. We are exclusively looking for candidates based in the Portland Metro Area, but this role is remote for now with a hybrid schedule long-term.

You will:

  • Dive in to historical and current marketing campaign and site data, ROI, etc. to inform future omni-channel digital strategy, driving competitive marketing campaigns, increased engagement and product sales
  • Work with a team of analysts and digital marketers to discover the "Why?" behind customer behavior on digital channels, consistently collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Report on findings to company leaders and cross-functional teams 
  • Provide insight and expertise to inform future digital marketing and eCommerce strategy
  • Partner with digital marketers, eCommerce and other teams to support other relevant projects and initiatives, as needed
  • Your profile should include:

  • 5+ years of analytical experience in a marketing capacity; Experience as a strategic partner to company leaders and the ability to report, present and help scope strategy from findings
  • Consumer goods and/or retail industry experience, required
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Top-tier MS Excel and Google Analytics Experience, required
  • Additional experience with PowerBI, SQL, Tableau and digital marketing tools (ESPs, eCommerce sites, paid channels, etc.), a major plus
