Senior SEO Specialist


Paladin is hiring a Senior SEO Specialist that will be responsible for the management and analysis of major SEO campaigns located in Evanston, IL.  The ideal candidate will be organized and a team player.


  • Implement and maintain SEO strategies such as, SEO copywriting, keyword research, and link building efforts
  • Create high quality SEO Content monthly for SEO client websites
  • Provide recommendations and strategies for continued SEO campaign improvement for clients and potential clients
  • Stay current on the latest industry trends, best practices, and search algorithm updates
  • Contribute to innovation of the SEO product through researching industry trends and competitive analysis that position us as a SEO leader
  • Assist in the training of new hires and SEO Specialists on processes and SEO best practices
  • Conduct department wide audits as needed to ensure high quality work and adherence to SEO best practices
  • Respond to client requests accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Complete understanding of our proprietary platform and it’s functions
  • Work with technology team, providing recommendations, user-experience testing and support for internal platform development while adapting to Agile software development methodology
  • Act as key point of contact with Account Strategists and Field Sales Team
  • Be a subject matter expert on all products which are relevant to the SEO team. Act as a point of contact for other teams to elevate product knowledge to others within the organization
  • Complete account related tasks as assigned by your manager within the given time frame
  • Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Associates degree + relevant work experience is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience required in an SEO Specialist role
  • Google Analytics Certified preferred
  • Google Search Console experience preferred
  • Skills

  • Must have strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office products as well as advanced problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to come up with new, creative solutions
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively message verbally and in writing, using a variety of communication methods to build productive relationships
  • Prioritizes and completes tasks with a concern for all the details involved; monitors and checks work for accuracy
  • Easily adapts to change in responsibilities, work processes, timeframes, performance expectations, organizational culture or work environment.
  • Must be self-directed and effective working independently, yet equally comfortable contributing in a team environment
  • Work Hours

    Remote, Hybrid in the future

    Monday-Friday, 8-5
