We're partnering with a world leading sportswear company in Beaverton, OR to recruit a UX/UI Designer for a year-long contract supporting their consumer shopping experience across eCommerce channels. This is a great opportunity to build on your corporate experience in UI and UX design and requires 2+ years of professional experience in this space, ideally working with eCommerce sites (mobile and desktop) and/or working with Fortune 500, highly technical companies. You should also be a strong Figma and Sketch user, with experience with strong prototyping and mobile experience. This role will start remotely, but this org is very focused on their day-to-day culture, and will reopen when safe. You should be comfortable commuting to Beaverton, or relocating to the area to finish out the contract. This role is full-time, paid hourly between $50 and $55 an hour.
You will:
Join a small team of UX/UI Designers and Product Managers to set the creative and interactive vision for the eCommerce experience, supporting execution of all content for the digital shopping experience
Create a seamless, clean, and well executed optimized flow on the site
Collaborate and strategize to think of and implement new and improved ways to make transactions online that go beyond user expectations and strengthen user confidence in purchasing from the brand
Your experience should include:
2+ years of in-depth UX/UI design experience, ideally working with eCommerce sites and/or with Fortune 500, technology-driven organizations
Excellent understanding of digital product design and an in-depth knowledge of best practices, accessibility, globalization, and design systems
Excellent technical aptitude, including Figma and/or Sketch experience
Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with leadership and product partners to strategize new projects and revise work and project to reflect collaborative team input and use cases
Bachelor's degree
