Position overview:  

Paladin is looking for a Program Specialist for our amazing client.  The Program Specialist is responsible for coordinating the program administration of the clients program including pre-planning, communication, content management, and in person events/programs.  The position is also responsible for the oversight of student/participant experience, coordination with Program Managers, Industry Relations and Engagement staff, competition organizers, students, committees, faculty advisors and corporate sponsors to ensure programs run smoothly.

 

Responsibilities

  • The program registration process, training staff on registration process and oversee system updates; administer and monitor electronic program setup, organize the pre-registration process, manage online registration process, administer web setup, manage event waitlists, and collecting and archiving event statistics.
  • Publishing, and updating program websites to ensure learning content and material are distributed to audiences for each program specifically. Support creation, content development, and oversight of digital program engagements.
  • Manage internal team communications including overseeing the programs helpdesk email, working on ordering systems, and managing and administering program emails/newsfeeds/newsletters as well as other programming outreach through proper channels. Creating and administering post program documents.
  • Managing the customer experience across all programs; both virtually and at in person events/programs/engagements.
  • Contribute to the achievement of our client's organizational goals through coordination with other business units, including but not limited to; Membership, Marketing, IT and Professional Development; Execute supervisor/self-constructed Personal Development Plan and additional duties/projects as assigned.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education, Communications, Business Administration, Digital Media/Content Creation, or related field with 2-5 years of equivalent event/program planning experience, required.
  • Strong digital skills including Microsoft Office Suite required. Social Media, Adobe Acrobat, and familiarity with Purchasing Software(s), Customer Management Software(s)/Tools, desired.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to prioritize short- and long-term initiatives.
  • Ability to work with a diverse population of students/faculty and event participants.
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperate with other employees.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
