We have partnered with a large Phoenix, AZ based company to recruit an Instructional Designer for a 3-month contract. On this assignment, you will focus on creating new employee onboarding materials for employees at different levels. You should bring 3+ years of instructional design and/or training content development experience with larger company experience being preferred. You should also be very tech savvy, with experience in Adobe Creative Suite and ideally, Articulate Rise 360 (or similar).
This team is remote for now but could possibly go back onsite within the 3-month timeframe, so local candidates are strongly preferred. As a Paladin contractor, you will have access to medical, dental and vision insurance and 401(K) options so you feel covered to do the best job possible.
You will:
Leverage technical skills to create effective interactions, activities and assessments
Develop instructional material: courses, curriculum, or training manuals
Design content geared towards learning in a remote environment
Ensure the company's "customer-first" approach is at the core of all training materials
Master the company's style guides and standards
Support other training projects, as needed
Your experience should include:
3+ years of instructional design or curriculum development experience, ideally within a larger, nuanced organization
Understand LMS best practices for SCORM
Experience with Instructional design model ADDIE
Experience creating materials for adult learners
Technical proficiency in Camtasia and Storyline Articulate Rise 360 or similar, Adobe Creative Suite and Keynote
Bachelor's degree, preferred
