We have partnered with our Beaverton, OR global sportswear client to recruit for multiple Associate Apparel Graphic Designer roles. While there is a preference for candidates local to the Beaverton/Portland area, we are also exploring fully remote candidates for this year long contract. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting graphics design for licensed apparel projects, working on the production side. You will work on quick-turn design projects, collecting and preparing designer sketches and artwork. You will combine different features of the design process for each product, collecting documentation, photos, schematics, etc. to prepare completed projects for the production process. To be a fit, you will need to bring 2+ years of graphic design with apparel industry experience. You should be an Adobe Illustrator expert, and experience with 3D design and modeling will make you a top candidate.

This is a 1 year contract role on a high volume, quick-moving team. There is a strong preference for candidates who can commute to the Beaverton, OR office when it reopens, but we will explore remote candidates for the right fit. Pay ranges from $25 to $30 an hour, DOE.

You will:

  • Collect, organize, prepare, and assemble designer sketches and artwork (graphics, all over prints, logos, photographs, etc.)
  • Support apparel designers in creating colorways, maintaining accurate sketch and design documentation, and in the overall planning process
  • Work with internal teams to define and produce high quality product imagery and designs, delivering them ready for production
  • Manage a variety of projects at once
  • Your experience should include:

  • 2+ years of graphics and/or apparel design; Experience working in the apparel industry, required
  • Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator) expertise; 3D design/modeling experience, a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in design, highly preferred
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
