 Creative Director

A dynamic organization in New York is searching for a creative, energetic, and enthusiastic candidate to fill a Creative Director spot on their team. This role will either be remote or on-site hybrid. The Creative Director will play a key role in the organization’s marketing team, by building powerful and authentic campaigns to establish the brand over multiple channels, and report to the Director of Branding and Communications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited 4 year college or university, BFA strongly encouraged
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in Art Direction or Creative Direction for non-profit, advertising, marketing, PR, or a related field
  • Portfolio of work that shows expertise in branding and marketing, as well as showcasing attention to detail
  • Experience in creative development on time and within a budget
  • Strong understanding of digital development principles such as responsive/adaptive design. Must be able to lead colleagues from concept to execution
  • Must be able to incorporate numerous types of information and be able to present it in a visual manner
  • Strong communication and team building skills
  • Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

    Job Duties:

  • Lead organization through a collaborative rebranding process by maintaining a clean and powerful look that will translate well to print, digital, swag, social media, videos, events, missions, etc.
  • Ensure brand identity is blended into all mediums and communications
  • Work directly with the Director of Branding and Communication to objectify and design campaigns that will help achieve organizational goals
  • Create eye catching designs for events, promotion, sales collateral, donor proposals, gratitude projects, and more.
  • Supervise and support senior and junior graphic designers, freelance designers, which includes designating workload, keeping track of timelines and due dates
  • Establish solid relationships with department heads and chapter directors (clients) as well as maintain relationships with outside designers and creative counterparts at agencies, communicating companies vision and brand standards.
