Paladin is currently seeking a Temporary Public Relations Manager to cover a maternity leave at a technology company in the Tysons area. In this role you will be responsible for external communications, advancing the teams strategic messaging, overseeing the organization’s PR needs, managing social media channels, managing media launches, coordinating with vendors,  and additional communications duties as needed.  The ideal candidate will be a skilled communications and PR professional with three to five years of experience. Strong writing skills, ability to work on constantly changing deadlines, experience with communications strategy and public relations is a must. This position will start immediately last approximately four months. Candidates must be able to commit to the full duration of the assignment and a 40 hour work week. The pay rate for this position will range between $30-$40 per hour depending on experience.



  • Managing external communications for the organization
  • Advancing strategic messaging
  • Oversee organization’s PR needs, including briefing executives for press and coordinating with media
  • Managing media launches for campaigns
  • Coordinating with external vendors
  • Managing all social media channels
  • Additional tasks as needed



  • Three to five years of Communications/PR/Social Media experience
  • Bachelor degree in Communications, PR, Marketing or related field
  • Strong writing abilities
  • Ability to work on changing deadlines
  • Experience with developing and executing communications strategies
  • Previous media relations experience
  • Previous experience in the technology industry 
  • Ability to commit to the full duration of the assignment (approx. 4 months)
