A fast-growing retail company located in the western suburbs of Chicago has an immediate opening for a PR Assistant with Event Coordination experience. In this role, one of your larger functions will be to play a part in the planning and coordination of one of their largest events held in NYC that you’ll also get to attend!!

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Manage media integrations.
  • Copyedit media materials.
  • Assist in event coordination and execution.
  • Conduct research to assist in departmental initiatives and projects.
  • Liaises between the department, vendors and/or agencies while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Ensure department plans and materials align with business expectations and priorities.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leader.
  • Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelors’ degree in PR or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a professional setting (marketing or agency preferred)
  • Experience as a Marketing Coordinator, Meeting Events Assistant, PR Assistant and/or Associate Account Executive is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
