Are you an experienced marketing professional with experience leading a team and implementing new strategies? Paladin is searching for a Marketing Manager to join a communications agency in Los Angeles that specializes in financial services. Reporting to the Chief of Communications, this a great opportunity for someone who understands how to build relationships, manage projects, and ensure all logistical objectives are met.



  • Serves as the primary point of contact for each client throughout the discovery, planning, and production process of every project; leads weekly check-in meetings for assigned clients
  • Experienced digital marketer (SEO, search, automated campaigns, social, etc) who can translate metrics and reporting into client-friendly language and actionable next steps; HubSpot knowledge/familiarity is a must 
  • Exhibits project management skills and follows through to ensure projects are completed accurately, timely, and within budget constraints
  • Contributes to marketing and strategic communications plans through thoughtful, informed, and well-written suggestions and input
  • Evaluates projects upon completion, comparing forecasted production hours with actuals; provides recommendations for greater project efficiency
  • Collaborates effectively on integrated projects with key team members from PR and Creative teams for consistent messaging and an overall positive client experience.
  • Coordinates meetings which includes scheduling, material preparation, and follow up for team



  • 7+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Ability to speak with prospects, customers, and critical contacts over the phone, assessing their needs and listening closely to effectively create an initial proposal and then
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Management skills required as well as a proven record of working collaboratively with remote employees
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and address competing priorities
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office software, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong knowledge of Marketing Automation Systems including HubSpot
  • Effective written, listening and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent follow-up, problem solving, telephone and organizational skills
