This is a 6 month contract to hire position

Paladin is searching for a Marketing Events Coordinator to join an exciting team of innovative marketers with our client in Chicago, Il. This role will be responsible for the creation and coordination of industry-wide events, tradeshows, and fairs, representing the client brand and reaching new audiences. Extra consideration will be given to candidates with experience hosting virtual events, crafting immersive experiences for remote and physical attendees alike. Must have an analytical mindset with the ability to measure effectiveness and ROI of promotional events. Ideal candidates will be a team player, with the ability to work with others collaboratively to coordinate events with the greater marketing campaign strategies.

Primary Duties:

  • Plan event coordination including pre-event and day of planning
  • Handle event logistics, dealing with personnel management, facility booking, vendor relationships, and other event-centered logistics
  • Design meaningful digital experience for remote attendees
  • Create campaign awareness, working on direct mail/email invites, newsletter blurbs, social media posting, and web advertisement
  • Measure and report on event analytics and return on investment
  • Conduct post-event evaluations
  • Collaborate with marketing team to align with campaign goals

  • Minimum Qualifications:


    Education: BA/BS in Marketing, or related Field

    Experience:

  • 2-3 Years of experience in social media management
  • Capable writing skills, reaching audiences across multiple channels of communication
  • Adept in Microsoft Office
  • Team play comfortable with working collaboratively in a team setting
  • Experience planning digital events
  • Some graphic design experience preferred
