Paladin is searching on a Corporate Marketing Coordinator - Communications job for Littler in the Greater Kansas City, MO area.

Job Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensures all media mentions are captured and maintained in the media coverage log.
  • Ensures media mentions are presented to department leadership in accordance with defined protocols and time constraints.
  • Ensures all relevant media mentions are included and updated on attorney bios. 
  • Ensures all national and local law firm surveys and awards are monitored. Where appropriate, ensure Littler's submissions are on time and accurate. 
  • Responsible for researching and identifying the most appropriate media outlets for Littler publications and speaking engagements. 
  • Accountable for the creation of draft press releases and other communication (internal and external) materials that are correct and error-free.

Qualifications and Skills needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related experience is preferred.
  • 2+ years of agency or in-house PR, media and communications experience is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously supporting Director of Public Relations and other departmental directors. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office functions in addition to having working knowledge of the firm's media database. 
  • Ability to draft press materials and liaise with reporters to coordinate press opportunities. Ability to track and manage and all press coverage. Coordinate posting of press materials on firm website and monitor press for trends/story ideas. 
  • Demonstrated ability to draft internal and external marketing communications that are free of grammatical errors, aligned with firm strategic communication messaging and factually accurate.
