A new ad agency incubator is wanting to add a Senior Paid Search Field Supervisor to their newly created team in Chicago. The Sr. Paid Search Field Supervisor will for on managing the paid search (SEM) plans, tactics, and performance for an automotive group’s Tier 3 advertisement. That includes acting as the primary liaison between the Client, SEM implementation team, and agency team.

This incubator was the first launched in the United States, followed by New York, and has plans of expansive growth. As a Sr. Paid Search Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for oversight of Search Field Representatives, as well as, your own portfolio of roughly 30 Clients nationwide. You will be asked to travel up to 20% domestically depending on Clients’ needs and demand of the business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and assess the performance of Client SEM campaigns.
  • Conduct both in-person and online meeting with day-to-day Client contacts.
  • Liaison between internal SEM implementor and Client.
  • Partner with internal teams to expand knowledge of overall Client campaigns and media strategies.
  • Budget and manage Regional Clients’ overall monthly, quarterly, and annual ad spends.
  • Gather and present SEM performance details with internal team.
  • Collaborate with Search Strategy Manager on presenting overall strategy and performance details to Regional Clients.
  • Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in either Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Digital, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience working with SEM, Paid Search, or Digital Advertising.
  • 2+ years working within an ad agency.
  • Previous experience as an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive.
  • Understanding of Integrated Communications (TV, Radio, Digital Sponsorships, etc) required to effectively understand Regional Clients.
  • Strong effective communication skills with attention to detail and timeliness.
  • A “team-first” attitude with a high level of enthusiasm.
  • Comfortable and able to present in front of groups larger than 10 people.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, quick learner, intuitive, and proactive.
  • Prior experience in retail advertising or automotive advertising is a STRONG plus.
