Paladin has partnered with an Anchorage, AK integrated agency to recruit a Marketing and Communications Supervisor to join the their team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will step into an already busy book of client business to support both strategic and tactical efforts across all marketing, communications and PR channels. Think of this team as less of an agency and more of an extension of their clients. They have long-term relationships with many local organizations, and their work is focused on better the lives of Alaskans. In this position, you will lead a team of account team members, focused on ensuring projects are delivered on-time and on budget. These are not direct reports, but leadership experience at some level is ideal. You will also work on a blend of marketing, communications and PR projects yourself, working to scope strategy and execute on projects. To be a fit, you should bring 5+ years of blended marketing and communications experience, expertise in AP Style, and great project management experience. Roots within Alaska and a passion for bettering the state community is also a must!

This is a permanent role with salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 with some flex for the right fit. You'll be provided a full benefits package, a great team, and the opportunity to jump right into a group of accounts and projects. This role is based in downtown Anchorage, AK and while they are currently remote, they will return to the office in the next few months. We are open to talking to candidates anywhere in the state of Alaska or those looking to relocate on their own.

You will:

  • Manage relationships with current and future clients, working proactively to scope and execute on marketing, communications, PR and similar campaigns and projects
  • Function as a full-scale account, project and marketing manager, overseeing cradle to grave work for client projects
  • Lead a team of account support experts, assigning and monitoring work and projects, and working with executives to optimize team performance
  • Aid in pitching and onboarding new business
  • Generally ensure client satisfaction across all accounts, as needed
  • You should bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and communications with experience in supervisory and/or leadership positions
  • Experience working with government or public interest organizations, very strongly preferred
  • Strong communications experience with skills in writing, editing and public relations
  • Excellent knowledge of communities and causes affecting the larger Alaskan community and population
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications or a similar relevant field
  • Expert-level skills in AP Style; Project management software experience
  • A passion for delivering seamless brand and client experiences
