Digital Marketing Account Manager

Paladin is seeking Digital Marketing Account Manager candidates for a great permanent position with a growing digital agency in Chicago, IL. The desired candidate will have previous experience with digital marketing best practices, specifically SEO, working for small to mid-size digital agencies. Candidates need to have 3+ years working as an Account Coordinator, Manager, or Executive with such agencies. This role is only open to candidates local to the greater Chicago market.


  • Support the planning, execution and measurement of marketing deliverables for content marketing clients.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop results-driven content marketing strategies for our clients and agency.
  • Deliver client projects on time and on budget by partnering with a cross functional project team.
  • Identify new areas of opportunity within the client’s business where the client can help
  • Brainstorm content that is on-strategy, on-brand, and will inspire action from target market.
  • Research competitive marketing/content strategies in order to determine best practices and develop a strategic approach.
  • Monitor and report on data to optimize marketing deliverables.
  • Serve as marketing account lead, interfacing with marketing clients on a regular basis and ensuring they are happy.
  • Work with editors, analysts, designers and developers to bring marketing deliverables to life. Help ensure deliverables are executed properly.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing strategies and deliverables across content, SEO, email, social media, and paid search.
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise for clients.

  • Education:

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field
  • Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Versatile digital marketing manager with experience across content marketing, SEO, and email marketing.
  • Experience working with B2B clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Track record of successfully deploying/supporting marketing campaigns
  • Experience overseeing the creation of marketing collateral, including white papers, webinars, content, email, banners/ads, etc.
  • Data-driven marketer - the ability to measure, report and analyze key marketing data
  • Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and strategies
  • Healthcare, financial services, government, and/or tech experience.
  • Pay Range: $60 -$80K + discretionary bonus + Unlimited PTO

    Work Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 PM CST – Agency life does ask for flexibility in schedule to meet client deadlines, thus a 40-hour work week is not guaranteed.
