We are working with a Portland, OR based marketing agency to recruit a B2B Account Manager to join their incredible team. In this role, you will be responsible for working with a slate of primarily enterprise-level clients in the technology space to scope a variety of marketing projects and services. You will function as a part of their marketing teams for all intents and purposes, focused on building strong relationships with a variety of internal staff members to drive innovative marketing and creative strategy. You will aid clients in scoping projects and initiatives to drive digital business, brand recognition, and new opportunity in their respective spaces. To be a fit, you should bring 3+ years of agency account management experience, or a blend of agency and corporate experience. An understanding of the B2B landscape is absolutely crucial, and experience in the technology space is also required. This is a permanent role based in the Portland, OR area, so while currently remote, we are looking for candidates based locally or actively looking to relocate. Pay is based on experience, but ranges between $70,000 and $85,000, and salary is paired with top-tier benefits and a wonderful company culture. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning relationships with a slate of clients, primarily in the enterprise technology space, serving as an extension of their own marketing teams and providing strategic insight, recommendation and resources to drive their digital marketing strategy
  • Facilitating the new client or new project onboarding process, handling relevant documentation, proposals, agreements, etc. to ensure projects are unencumbered by these details
  • Partnering with internal agency resources across all specialties to provide excellent work and client service
  • Growing relationships with current and potential clients
  • To be a fit, you should bring:

  • 3+ years of account management experience in a marketing agency setting and/or corporate marketing management experience in a relevant business
  • B2B marketing expertise with in-depth understanding of digital marketing
  • In-depth understanding of and experience with the technology industry, ideally with larger or enterprise brands
  • Excellent communication and client services skills to collaborate with clients, external resources and a variety of cross-functional agency staff, focused on driving lock-step partnerships and strategy across these client relationships
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred 
  • Experience with relevant communication and PM tools
