Well established B2B ad agency is looking for an Account Executive to join their team. This agency handles all the media, creative, and production aspects of Tier 3 advertising for a predominate foreign automotive group in the United States. As an Account Executive this role will be responsible for the state of Illinois market excluding Chicago, which is made up of 13 separate markets and 18 accounts.

The Account Executive will report directly to the Management Director while supporting the Management Supervisor. They may be asked to travel in state up to a week a month to support their portfolio’s needs. Your portfolio will include a wide, diverse group of automotive clients, where you will help them with strategy, creative, reporting, training, and liaising with their partners and vendors who oversee aspects of their relationship.

Primary Duties:

  • Manage your territory’s advertising activities including creative, media, budgets, and production.
  • Serve as liaison between portfolio contacts and internal stakeholders including Media Planning & Internal Operations.
  • Regularly prepare and conduct onsite Client meetings.
  • Forge a positive relationship between agency and Client.
  • Additional duties as assigned by Management Director
  • Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital, or related field (Not necessary based on experience)
  • 1+ years of experience working in an Ad Agency.
  • 2+ years of experience in Account Management.
  • Knowledge of integrated disciplines (Interactive, Sales Promotions, Public Relations, Lifestyle Marketing, Collateral & Merchandising.
  • Upmost degree of professionalism, with an attention to detail and timeliness.
  • Active Driver’s License with no recent moving violations.
  • Through knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bonus Points:

  • Working knowledge of Keynote, Photoshop, Quark Xpress, and Salesforce.
  • Prior experience in retail advertising or automotive.
