Ideal Position:
In my ideal scenario, I am using my extensive skills to make a difference and be of service to a vibrant team with a healthy and somewhat casual culture that is within 15 miles of my home-ideally perhaps welcomes at least SOME telecommuting. I am working part time, 20-25 hours per week, with flexible hours. Parking is free or covered, and benefits are a possibility.

I love working from home, but I also love a casual/friendly environment. Yet I have functioned well in a couple of very formal environments when I reported in each case to a single vice president. I can work in private and in a hubbub as long as the noise doesn't include radio/TV/music...or other things that are designed to capture attention.

Past Experience:
My experience includes many freelance jobs, several permanent part-time jobs, and a few extended contracts. I have produced newsletters, proofread marketing and advertising materials, corporate documents, annual reports, etc.

Currently:
Recently, for a financial services company which had just gone through a merger, I proofread and copyedited a large, soon-to-be-launched revised web site, checked all links, did usability checks, provided the designer with a page-by-page list of corrections, tweaks, and suggestions. I will be doing the second read in the near future.

I am mature, honest, thorough, and reliable. I have a GREAT learning curve.
