Ideal Position:
Over the years, I have regularly been published in a wide variety of newspapers and magazines in Chicago and nationally. I'm always in search of interesting, challenging opportunities on both the advertorial and editorial (writing) side. I welcome the opportunity to work in a diverse, energetic environment that fosters creativity.

Past Experience:
I'm a full-time freelance writer with a decade-plus experience in food, dining, spa, travel and entertainment writing. I develop/test recipes for a Chicago newspaper and cover everything from the "green scene" to nightlife to conference spaces, for a variety of publications. I also oversee writers in 12 Midwestern cities for an online restaurant and travel site.

Currently:
On a monthly basis, I serve as the Chicago nightlife editor for a restaurant reviewer; review and manage Chicago dining for an online restaurant and travel site while overseeing writers' content in 12 Midwestern cities, and contribute content to a leading entertainment website. I regularly write cover stories for the Food section of a leading daily newspaper, which requires me to test and alter recipes.
